9 February 2011- Fashion designers are perhaps one of the most creative people on this earth who make all those fabulous women fashion clothing! Without fashion designer clothes, many women can't even think of stepping out of their homes. Just imagine how colorless and uninteresting the world can become if we don't get to see glamorous and fashionable clothing here and there? So, we need to recognize the efforts of the people who make our wardrobes and lives so interesting- the fashion designers of course! We will not talk about the best fashion designer- that is decided by personal choice anyhow. Guccio Gucci

In 1920s, Gucci was a new name in leather goods which went on to become a phenomenal success in handbags. One of the leading Italian fashion designers, Gucci was the first fashion designer to intertwine his initials to create the iconic logo. His equestrian-inspired collection of bags and other accessories including trunks, gloves, shoes and belts made him instantly famous all over the world. A synonym of celebrity fashion, the brand Gucci is also one of the most famous fashion designer brands for womenswear.

Giorgio Armani

Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavani, best known as Valentino, is an Italian fashion designer who was born in 1932 but studied in Paris and is one of the most respected designers, who till recently, showed in Paris. Valentino’s international debut took place in 1962 in Florence, the Italian fashion capital of the time. He was made famous by his "Collection Blanche", dedicated to Jackie Kennedy in 1967.

Donna Karan

Donna Karan has studied at the Parsons School of Design in New York. As a successor to the fashion designer Anne Klein with whom she worked, Donna has established a reputation for practical luxury sportswear separates, typically in stretch fabrics and dark hues.She founded her own company in 1984.

This one of the top fashion designers lays emphasis on simple yet sophisticated designs, including everything from wrap skirts to corseted evening wear.

Christopher Bailey 'Burberry'

The Creative director of British fashion designer brand Burberry- Christopher Bailey- has studied at the Royal College of Art in London and has worked for many top fashion designers in the world like Donna Karan and Gucci. At Burberry, Bailey is directs all product lines. His flagship collection is the Prorsum lines for women as well as men. Bright color and subtle innovations in tailoring are the most striking features of his womenswear collections. Burberry is most famous for its "haymarket check" or "Burberry classic check" of black, tan, and red- first used as a lining for the Burberry trenchcoat in 1924.
